That’s right, the EA football franchise named after the 100+ year old John Madden is turning 20 (damn, I feel old!). Madden 09 will be available in North America on August 12. A $90 collector’s addition will also be available featuring the game, NFL Head Coach 09 (has anyone ever even played this game?) and some exclusive videos.

Still no word on who the cover guy is this year, but my money’s still on Adrian Peterson.

BeerAdvocate.com is gearing up to host the “East Coast’s Largest American Craft Beer Fest” with around 75 breweries serving 300 craft beers to an expected 15,000 beer lovers. This impressive boozefest will be at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, MA on June 20 & 21 and tickets are currently available for about $40. If you’re from Boston or going to be in town that weekend, you should go to this (and look for me passed out somewhere near the Harpoon booth).

I doubt the site’s hilarious disclaimer, “If you’re in a photo and upset about the verbal smackdown you morally and spiritually deserve, email me and I’ll take down the photo”, has ever been acted on considering most men would gladly be made fun of for the opportunity to be in the same picture as any of the woman on this site.

I just watched a show on the DIY Network called Man Caves. Normally, I’d shoot myself before watching home improvement shows, but this one caught my attention while flipping through the channels. The show detailed the transformation of a Boston-area home’s basement into the ultimate “man cave.” This thing was impressive; a Celtic’s themed bar, poker room, home theater and a work-out room. The Boston Globe even covered the story.

While I was watching this, all I could think of was, “who the hell is this guy’s wife!?” The renovation had to have cost between $50-$70k and took over the couple’s entire basement. Regardless, if the men of “508″ (the group of friends responsible for this kick-ass place) need another drunk to hang out with, feel free to email me ASAP.

I don’t usually write posts about ads that appear on my site, but holy shit! you can watch full episodes of The A-Team on NBC.com.

NBC.com currently has 6 episodes, including the pilot, “Mexican Slayride” where the team rescues a kidnapped journalist from rogue Mexicans. Hmmm… now that I think of it, every A-Team episode followed this formula, “a kidnapped * is rescued from a rogue group of *.” Regardless, it’s still a great show.

In addition to the A-Team, NBC.com offers other vintage shows including The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Battlestar Galactica, Miami Vice and more.

Man, I used to love this game.

You know you’re doing something right as a professional baseball player when you can score the Penthouse Pet of the Year before your 5th Major League start. Sure, his 2nd start was a no-no, but Clay Buchholz nailing Penthouse Model Erica Ellyson may be the greater accomplishment for the 23-year old righty.

Skip, Clay’s (VERY proud) dad confirmed the news, stating “I know he’s met her, gone out with her, but I don’t know if you consider that dating . . . but hey, a boy could do worse” on Boston station WZLX.

Its funny that Cowboy QB Tony Romo takes (THE!) Jessica Simpson on vacation and Texas rips him apart. Clay lands a Penthouse Pet (her myspace page, mildly NSFW) and Red Sox Nation has a new native son. You’re my boy Clay!
