Time to add some better tuneage to your playlist. Check out the songs I’ve been digging lately:
“Trashcan” by Delta Spirit
“All I Need” by Radiohead
“Play with Fire” by The Rolling Stones
“My Name is Jonas” by Weezer
“You can take the fish out of the sea, but you ain’t ever gonna take the linebacker outta me. Believe that.” (make sure you watch the whole video below)
Yes, I went to the Red Sox vs. Rays game 5 ALCS game last night.
Yes, I left early (after the 6th inning).
And Yes, I know I suck. Carry on.
Who would of thought Band of Horses would write the drunk guy softball anthem, complete with kegs, guys in jeans and hot chick pitchers.
Townie newspapers are an excellent source of laughter. Criggo is an excellent source of townie newspaper clippings.
FYI: I believe “hooker” in this case actually refers to a glass of whiskey (or some other moonshine drink). Oh, and completely randomly, did you know that “Hooker” was also the former name of the band Aerosmith?
A guy at work (thanks Shaun) told me about Amazing Super Powers and I’ve been reading the seriously funny, but even more seriously demented comic strip religiously ever since. Click the image below to read the whole thing. Also, be sure to mouse over the comic… sometimes the alt description is even funnier than the strip.
The Cincinnati Bengals may not have the talent on the field to compete, but their cheerleaders can hang with the best of the NFL.

Had I known Neiman Marcus sold crazy shit like this I may not have forbade my wife from shopping there. The Guinness Home Pub is a fully functional, traditional Irish pub that will be built in your home by RiRa Pubs. The package includes a first-class trip for two to Dublin to tour the Guinness Brewery. Oh and did I mention an entire year’s supply of Guinness!?
All of this can be had for the dirt cheap price of $250,000. Considering how much I drink, the bar and trip are just a bonus for that price.
