NBC’s “Chuck” – A Network Show I Might Actually Watch

yvonne-strzechowski2.jpgTV sucks. Seriously, the shows networks have been trying to cram down our throats for the last 10 years have been absolute crap. Sure, every once in a while a show comes on (Friday Night Lights, Dirt) that sparks my interest, but it typically fizzles by the second season (Dirt). A rare few shows (Entourage, Rescue Me, Vegas) continue to hold my attention through quality writing, a decent cast and gratuitous nudity.

That’s why I was surprised when I watched the pilot episode of Chuck (the show debuts Monday September 24th) and thought to myself, “hey, this isn’t half bad.” Sadly, “isn’t half bad” is about the highest compliment a new show gets out of me due to the overwhelming shitpile known as the network fall lineup.

So for now, Chuck makes it onto my short list (helped by leading hottie Yvonne Strzechowski) along side sports, porn and HBO.

TV shows: Rent “The Wire” on netflix. Tivo “The Office”, “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, “30 Rock”, and the Sunday night fox cartoons.

And watch the mu’fucking Daily Show/Colbert hour every once and a while, will ya?
